A hammer action handpiece, such as the Foredom Hammer Action H.15SJ Slip Joint Handpiece, can be used; however, due to the high speed of the Forefom SR system, a speed control unit must be employed to ensure the speed remains within the handpiece’s specified limits. Additionally, the motor must not be operated in reverse. Further information on the Foredom speed control unit is available here.
